Girls will be girls (sort of)

I went up to the city with Taylor today. At night we stopped by Asia Sf to pay Derek and his "girls" a visit. The place is nice, its a very quaint place. You can walk past it without ever guessing what really goes on inside that place. We show up at around 7 not knowing what to expect b/c we didn't have reservations on a Friday night, or how we would get in b/c the place checks for ID since it was restaurant/bar type of place. Derek managed to pull some strings and got us in. When we went in it was right in the middle of a show. Now the unique thing about Asia Sf is that its a restaurant/bar with showgirls. Except the girls aren't really girls... they're all transvestites!(how crazy) We got seated ordered a little bit of food and we got a few drinks on the house. The food was pretty tasty, we got an order of sashimi and pineapple cheesecake. We weren't too hungry b/c we ate prior to the visit. But i have to say, the food and drinks were exquisite and the showgirls were amazing. They were extremely entertaining and just so much fun. These "girls" just love what they do. Derek had one of the girls mess around with Taylor and I. She came up and wrapped her arms around us. Every time she would walk by us she would touch/poke at us while occasionally throwing a few winks into the mix. Time went by very fast and the fun was short lived. Unfortunately we had to call it a night at around 9 but we definitely plan to come back for round two in the near future and experience Asia Sf to its full potential. Hopefully the infamous Aliyah will be working next time. Overall we both loved Asia Sf. Only in Sf will you find a fine place like this...

A New Year

I successfully cleaned my entire room (something I have been putting off for years). Everything is so nice and organized for once. How exciting! I purchased 2 pairs of sweats and am comfortably enjoying a pair of them as I type. Learned how to snowboard in Tahoe. So much fun! School start tomorrow and I'm going to be pretty busy this quarter but hopefully it'll be a good kind of busy... And I updated my blog, something I haven't done in well over a month. The new year is off to a relatively good start.

2010 please be good to me!
